Join Our Lab Study! (Users AND Non-Users)

Thank you for your interest in recenTHC’s study. Our company is researching markers that may
be used to determine recent cannabis use and is looking for participants like YOU!

The study consists of you coming into our lab to give a breath sample and answer a few survey
questions. The visit lasts approximately 15 minutes and is scheduled ahead of time. We are
looking for both users and non-users of cannabis for this study!

Qualifying study participants are asked to abstain from cannabis and alcohol use at least six
hours prior to participation. After completion of the study, your time is compensated through a
$25 Visa e-gift card.

You may qualify if you:

  • Are over the age of 21
  • Live in the Phoenix Metro area
  • Have a form of transportation to our lab – 850 N. 5th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004
  • OR attend an event where we are collecting samples

At recenTHC, we understand concerns about information leaks and take confidentiality very
seriously. We are committed to maintaining your privacy as a participant in this study and
protecting all your information through encryption and secured drives that only researchers at
recenTHC can access. Our lab has multiple security measures to ensure that all your information
and data are safe and protected.

Common Questions

Yes, you will need to provide your own transportation to our lab at 850 N 5th St. Phoenix (unless you are attending an event where samples are being collected on-site). Parking is available and parking tickets can be validated by our front desk. If you are driving, we require that you are non-intoxicated on the drive to/from premises and remain abstinent from cannabis, drugs, and alcohol for at least 6 hours.

You must abstain from inhaled cannabis for at least 6 hours prior to the lab visit, edible cannabis for 12 hours, and all alcohol and drugs for 6 hours. These measures are put into place for your safety, as we do not want anyone to be intoxicated driving to and from our lab site. If a research assistant believes you to be intoxicated, you will be provided with a ride share service.

Yes, multiple people can participate in this study at one time. If you sign up for the same day/time slot, you can attend with multiple people. *All parties must be determined eligible to participate.

Your $25 gift card will arrive via the email address you provide and can be expected 3-4 business days after your completed lab visit.
